Because the Sun will always spend the first three weeks of May in your sector of adventure, travel, learning and discovery before ending the month in your career sector, this is a month when there is going to be at least some overlap. While the Sun's departure and return to your career sector on 21st May is the point in each year when the solar spotlight will always shift off the adventurous side of life's fence and onto your career and professional situation, matters and options, it is not uncommon to have Venus and Mercury make that shift earlier, blurring the lines and during the overlap, having to find a compromise between having your professional hat on and keeping it off. This year is different, in that you have had this overlap for the last 12 months, making this nothing new. Even after the Sun leaves your sector of adventure, travel, learning and discovery on 21st May, not only is Mercury here, helping you turn your bucket list into a game plan from 11th May to 26th May, but Venus has yet to return and Uranus who has been here since 2019, isn't leaving until July. At the same time, while the Sun won't return to your career sector until 21st May and Mercury until 26th May, by then you will be in the final weeks of Jupiter's 13 month quest for professional growth and expansion, which began in May 2024. Uranus and Jupiter have been playing this balancing act since then. Meanwhile, this month is hosting the end of a major focus on your relationships and the beginning of a major new financial chapter. Neptune, the planet of hopes and dreams left your relationship sector and returned to your financial sector at the end of March and while planets have come and gone between the two since then, it is when Saturn leaves on 25th May that the transition will be complete. For the first time since 2010 this will leave your relationship sector empty until later in the year and while as Saturn returns to your financial sector for the first time in three decades and the first time with Neptune here in our lifetime, this will give you the resolve to do whatever it takes for as long as it takes to turn financial dreams into reality.

While Venus, the planet of love is leaving your relationship sector on 1st May, it is not only for the second time this year but having spent considerably more than the 24 days that she would normally spend here. Venus first returned in early January, for what is the chance that she brings each year to get to the heart of what you want from your relationships and through the laws of attraction, she works to turn those desires into reality. While Venus did leave, not until after spending a month working her magic. It was a retrograde turn that saw Venus retrograde back in for a do over, with the planet of love having spent the whole of April back here, the first half in retrograde motion and the second back in direct motion again. While it was nice to have Venus return, it was just a day before she returned that after 13 years Neptune, the planet of hopes and dreams left your relationship sector at the end of March, with the dwarf planet Ceres leaving on 17th May and Saturn on 25th May. By the end of the month, for the first time since 2010, there will be no planetary activity in your relationship sector, but with the lunar nodes continuing to police a balance between your own and your relationship needs. This allows you to move into these final weeks more aware of what you want from your relationships and what they need from you, along with everything needed to make this count. The Moon will make its last visit to your relationship sector before Saturn leaves from 16th May to 18th May, with a chance to move into his final days emotionally and intuitively engaged and aware. This isn't the end of the story or the journey, with Neptune and Saturn both returning later in the year to spend a few months tying up loose ends. Meanwhile, with no planetary activity on the romantic front, the Moon's return to your romantic sector on 11th May will not only bring you to the start of the most romantically charged days of the month, but before leaving on 13th May this will culminate with the most romantically charged Full Moon of 2025.
