Scorpio
Compared to the major planetary shifts over recent months, the shifts this month are of the more ordinary kind, but they are getting things into position to bring this year home. This is also a month when a call to know when to keep your work hat on and when to take it off will be policed, but this will work to your advantage personally and professionally. Policing this is Mars, the warrior planet of the cosmos, who will return to a nostalgic and reflective part of your chart to begin the six and a half week wind down of your current Mars cycle, ahead of his return to Scorpio on 22nd September.
While it is a given that with the dwarf planet Eris, the warrior princess of the cosmos in your busy work sector for over nine decades that at some point they would clash, when Mars returns it will bird's eye view to not only find five planets there, but spread out to the degree that during the early, middle and final days of his time here, this is when the pressure to know when to keep your work hat on and when to take it off will be at its greatest. However, you not only begin the month with four of the planets in your work sector in retrograde motion, but with the fifth turning retrograde on 12th August, a day after Mercury turns direct in your career sector.
While the Sun will keep an eye on the future until leaving on 23rd August, with Mercury here for the rest of the month and Venus not returning until 26th August, you can afford to take your foot off the gas. Turning Mars' push to know when to keep your work hat on and when to take it off into an advantage, is that you not only have Venus in your sector of adventure, travel, learning and discovery until 26th August, but where she has teamed up with lucky Jupiter for the first time in over a decade. They are part of a team powering up the playful, creative and adventurous side of life's fence.
Scorpio
While there are no planets in your romantic or relationship sectors this month, there is a definite shift to all things romantic and that is saying something. You not only moved into July with Venus and Uranus in your relationship sector, but while Venus was only passing through, Uranus had been there since 2019. Yet within a week both were gone and six years of continuous planetary activity on the relationship front is over. While Uranus will retrograde back in later in the year before finally leaving again in April 2026, not to return for another eight decades, for now the focus is off your relationships.
However, the last six years and the final weeks when Venus, the planet of love was there has left you with a clear sense of what you want from your relationships and what they need from you. Until Uranus returns in November, the Moon's monthly visits will be a valuable chance to check in and remain emotionally engaged and aware. This makes the Moon's transit through your relationship sector from 15th August to 17th August the most important days of the month on the relationship front. Meanwhile, while there is also no planetary activity in your romantic sector, though not a physical body, the North Node is more than a placeholder for when Saturn not only returns next month, but with a total lunar eclipse here next month as well.
As well as acting as your heart's internal compass, until leaving in July 2026 the North Node is keeping the spirit of romance alive as major planets transition in and out over that time. The North Node will play an important role in guiding Venus, the planet of love through an adventurous part of your chart from 31st July to 26th August. As well as teaming up with Jupiter there, something that has brought the planets of love and luck together, the North Node will make Venus' mission to bring the spirit of romance and adventure together a lot easier. This will be especially so when the Moon moves through your romantic sector from 10th August to 12th August.
