For the Sun, when it leaves a playful and creative part of your chart and returns to your busy work sector on 20th April this will be a hard shift from one to the other. One minute the solar spotlight will be on the playful side of life's fence and the next it will be on the busy side, as it does at the same time each year. However, with Jupiter not only in his last full month in your work sector but heading towards his first alignment with Uranus here in eight decades from 18th April to 22nd April, life is already likely to be busy. As Jupiter is the planet of luck and expansion and Uranus is the planet of surprise, synchronicity and the unexpected, this month could also bring some surprise developments, as a 12 month quest for job growth and expansion reaches its peak. Supporting this are planets that are going to make the whole of April a good month across the income, work and career fronts. Yet at the same time, you not only have the Sun in a fun, playful, romantic and creatively charged part of your chart until 20th April, but Venus will be here from 5th April to 29th April, Mercury will be here all month and Mars will return in the early hours of May. The Sun might shift the solar spotlight from the playful to the busy side of life's fence on 20th April, but both sides are active and will remain active all month. With Mars also spending the whole of April in your home and family sector, this makes having the right work/life balance and the right balance between work and play a priority from the start. Especially if you want to have it all, in a month that wants to offer it all.

Because the Sun will always spend the first three weeks of April in your romantic sector, the solar spotlight is always on matters of the heart and all things romantic at this time each year. The Sun will always return on the March equinox and until leaving on 20th April, he will not only put matters of the heart in the spotlight but on the planetary influences already there as well as those that are passing through at the time. This year is different in that for the first time in 18 years the Sun has returned to find the North Node in your romantic sector and this will have major implications when the Moon makes its monthly visit from 7th April to 9th April. When the Moon returns every four weeks, when the Sun is here their alignment will create a New Moon, which creates an opportunity for new beginnings. However, because the North Node is here, when the Moon moves through this will turn what is an ordinary New Moon for this time of year into a total solar eclipse. As well as turning this into an opportunity for major new beginnings, as the North Node has been here since last July, this will act as a trigger for influences that have been developing behind the scenes. This makes it important to expect the unexpected. What makes the timing of this eclipsing New Moon important is that on 5th April Venus, the planet of love will return to your romantic sector to begin what she will be working to make the most romantically charged weeks of 2024. Venus is only here until 29th April, so she will be working to make this count. However, with Mercury, in retrograde motion here from 2nd April to 26th April and not leaving until the middle of next month and with Mars returning in the early hours of May, you are instead entering the most romantically charged months rather than weeks of 2024. Meanwhile, until Jupiter returns to your relationship sector next month there is no planetary activity on the relationship front, though with the Moon bringing a chance to check on from 12th April to 14th April.
