Sagittarius
While there is change in the air from the start, at this stage it is less about something new and more about returning to something familiar. On 1st September, after just over three months in your romantic and creative sector, Saturn will retrograde back out and back into your home and family sector, where until leaving at the end of May, he had been since March 2023. Saturn will not only leave four planets behind but closely aligned and in harmony with Mercury in your sector of adventure, travel, learning and discovery until 3rd September and Venus until she leaves on 20th September. This will keep the playful, creative and adventurous side of life's fence active, in a month when your work/life balance is in the spotlight.
That will be especially so when the Moon not only returns to your home and family sector from 7th September to 9th September, but just days after Saturn has retrograded back in. The Sun will always spend the first three weeks of September in your career sector and at some point during his month long visit, the Moon will return to your home and family sector and clash to create a Full Moon that will put your work/life balance to the test. This time, because the lunar nodes are working behind the scenes to keep things balanced and because of the close proximity to the North Node, this will turn the ordinary Full Moon on 8th September into a total lunar eclipse.
This will make those work/life balance reminders harder to ignore, but with the activity on the playful, creative and adventurous side of life's fence helping to keep things in perspective. While the Sun will leave your career sector on 23rd September and Mercury on 18th September, with Venus not returning to bring things home until 20th September and then not leaving until next month, this is the right reminder at the right time. Meanwhile, while Mars won't return to your friendship sector until 22nd September, it will be to join a team that is active on the communication, social and relationship fronts all month.
Sagittarius
Rare for this time of year, is not only just how much focus there is on matters of the heart and all things romantic, but the kind of focus. With the Sun, Venus and Mercury always moving through your romantic sector around March/April each year and through your relationship sector around May/June each year, by the time you move into the second half of the year and especially by the time you reach September, this is normally well behind you. While you have had the dwarf planet Eris, the warrior princess of the cosmos in your romantic sector for over nine decades, she will always spend the second half of each year in retrograde motion and she is always here, keeping a silent watch on things.
However, it was at the end of March that Neptune, the planet of hopes and dreams returned for the first time in 150 years, followed by Saturn at the end of May. Saturn will retrograde back out on 1st September while in retrograde motion as well but not retrograding back out until next month Neptune will stay on to keep the spirit of romance alive and the doors open to the past and second chances. There will be a chance to more fully embrace this when the Moon moves through your romantic sector from 9th September to 11th September.
At the same time, while you had Jupiter move through your relationship sector from 26th May 2024 to 10th June 2025, it has been over two months since he left and with the Sun, Moon and Venus having all moved through, there should be no more planetary activity on the relationship front. Instead, it was early last month that Uranus returned for his first visit in 77 years and is spending the early months of what will be an eight year visit closely aligned with Pluto in your communication sector. With Pluto already in retrograde motion and Uranus turning retrograde on 6th September, this will put a lot of focus on the past, while making it easier to give your relationships, the past and unsaid words a voice. Especially when the Moon moves through from 9th September to 11th September.
