While it is not unusual to say that the main focus this month is on work and job matters and on your relationships, for that is the case at this time every year, the difference is the degree. Also, the level of external support, which in both cases is anything but the norm. What is the norm is that the Sun will always spend the first three weeks of March in your work sector, with the solar spotlight always on your work situation, job matters and options at this time of year. Meanwhile, at a point in the year when there is rarely any planetary activity in your career sector, the month begins with Mars not only here but having just turned direct five days earlier.
Along with more subtle support from planets in your income sector, this not only gets the new month off to an empowered start across the income, work and career fronts, but things will continue to evolve. You also have the dwarf planet Ceres in the first full month of her first deep dive into your needs and priorities on the job front in four years. In addition, Venus and Mercury seem reluctant to leave with Venus, who left in early February retrograding back in for a do over on 27th March and Mercury, who will leave on 3rd March, retrograding back in for a do over on 30th March.
The Sun will not only be gone by then but on 20th March will have returned to your relationship sector, just as Venus and Mercury are getting ready to retrograde back out. This will see the Sun moving forward into your relationship sector and away from your work sector while Venus and Mercury are going in the opposite direction. This is not the norm, but this is preparation for a much larger and game changing shift. On 31st March Neptune, the planet of hopes and dreams will leave your work sector where he has been since 2012 and return to your relationship sector, beginning to transition into a visit that won't run its course until 2039.

While the Sun will always return to your relationship sector on the March equinox, this year a lot of water will have passed under the bridge by the time it returns on 20th March and with even bigger developments before the end of the month. With the dwarf planet Eris, the warrior princess of the cosmos in your relationship sector for over nine decades and Chiron, the planet of healing since 2019, there is always some focus on your relationships. However, this is in a more low key and behind the scenes way. The most active months of any year on the relationship front are when the Sun or any of the faster planets move through.
This year, this began when Venus, the planet of love returned in early February for what should have been a 24 day visit. Instead, as you move into the new month Venus is not only still here but at a standstill ahead of a retrograde turn on 2nd March. This will not only keep Venus here until retrograding back out on 27th March, but she will return five weeks later for a do over. This is something Mercury will also do, with the planet of communication returning on 3rd March, only to turn retrograde on 15th March. This will see Mercury retrograde back out on 30th March, three days behind Venus, but like her, he will return for a do over.
By then, the Sun will be here, but it is at the very end of the month that on 31st March Neptune, the planet of hopes and dreams will return to your relationship sector for the first time in our lifetime. This is the start of a journey that won't eventually see Neptune leave until March 2039. With Pluto, who returned to your romantic sector in November 2024 after an 11 week absence there now until 2044, this is the start of a major life chapter on both the romantic and relationship fronts. With the Moon in your relationship sector from 1st March to 3rd March, this will ensure you are emotionally engaged and aware as Venus turns retrograde and Mercury returns, while its return on 29th March as an eclipsing New Moon will come just after they have retrograded back out, with a chance to embrace the future and the journey ahead.
