Libra Monthly Forecast

After recent months have seen movement of the outer planets, those planets that will have a major impact on the coming years and to have had so many in the space of just a few months is extremely rare, it is the more ordinary movement of Venus and Mars that will have a significant impact this month. Planets that had been in the same position for years before shifting into new positions could have less impact than the more ordinary movement of Venus, which happens on average every 24 days and Mars, once every six weeks. While the time they both spent in retrograde motion earlier in the year meant that wasn't the case, they are both getting back up to full speed and both with a significant impact this month. It began in the final hours of July, when held back by that retrograde phase earlier in the year Venus returned to do what as the planet of money, desire and attraction she can, to fuel your professional confidence, attract opportunities and steer things in a lucrative direction. The Sun had left eight days earlier, but as you move into the new month Venus is not only settling into her first full day but just as Jupiter moves into his second full month. Until Venus leaves on 26th August, you will not only have the element of luck and the laws of attraction in effect, but with built in support on the income and job fronts from the start. Meanwhile, it is on 7th August that nearly seven weeks before the Sun is due to return to Libra to begin your birthday month and new solar year, that Mars will return for his first visit in two years. As the planet of passion and the warrior planet of the cosmos, Mars' return will not only bring you to the start of a new two year Mars cycle, but until leaving on 22nd September he is going to fire up your passions, drive, warrior and competitive spirit while looking for something to channel this into. While some of this can be channelled professionally, due to the relationships Mars will form in his early days in Libra, a lot is going to be channelled into the playful, creative and adventurous side of life's fence.

While there is a strong presence on the romantic and relationship fronts this month, on both fronts, with a growing amount of focus on the past. While Pluto, the planet of change and transformation has been in retrograde motion in your romantic sector since May and won't turn direct until October, the planets in your relationship sector are still in the process of turning retrograde. By the time you move into the new month, four of the five planets in your relationship sector are in retrograde motion, all of them having just turned retrograde last month and the last Chiron, the planet of healing having just turned retrograde on 31st July. The only planet still in direct motion is the dwarf planet Ceres, who returned in May for her first deep dive into your relationship needs and priorities in four years. Normally here for just three months, it is her retrograde turn on 12th August that will keep Ceres here until March 2026. The Moon's return to your relationship sector from 12th August to 14th August will not only ensure you are emotionally engaged and aware as Ceres turns retrograde, but just as every planet here is now in retrograde motion. On both the romantic and relationship fronts the focus is on the past, with Mars' return to Libra on 7th August having an impact on both. You not only have all planets on the romantic and relationship fronts either already or in the process of turning retrograde, but Pluto is in the very early degrees of your romantic sector and Saturn and Neptune, in the very early degrees of your relationship sector. When Mars returns to Libra, he will not move into a friendly aspect to Pluto but will not only oppose Saturn and Neptune in your relationship sector, but at the same time. This will all be exact from 9th August to 11th August, from the start the planet of passion and the warrior planet of the cosmos is going to fire things up on the romantic and relationship fronts, all while the doors are open to the past and second chances. Adding to this will be the Moon's visit to your romantic sector from 8th August to 10th August and to your relationship sector from 12th August to 14th August.
