HOROSCOPE
Leo
At the same time that there is a lot of movement in the heavens, there are also a number of planets slowing down in order to either turn direct or retrograde. At a standstill as you move into the new month is Uranus, who only turned direct in your career sector on 30th January. After Mercury not only left your work sector two days earlier but ended all planetary activity on the job front until later in the year, this is a valuable chance to pause. The professional pace will pick up as the month progresses but only slowly, allowing you to pace yourself. After years of near continuous planetary activity on the job front, even the professional gods are encouraging you to pause and let things play out. Also at a standstill at the start of the month is Jupiter, who has slowed right down in order to turn direct in your sector of friendship, teamwork and networking on 4th February. This is the same day that Jupiter's friendly aspect to Mercury, the planet of communication in your relationship sector peaks, getting the month off to a positive start when it comes to friendship and relationship building. With Mercury in your relationship sector until 15th February and the Sun until 18th February, that support will continue. At the same time, slowing down but not at a standstill yet are Mars and Venus, as one prepares to turn direct and the other prepares to turn retrograde. Turning direct is Mars, who is slowing ahead of a direct turn in a nostalgic and reflective part of your chart on 24th February that will see him make a U turn and begin his nearly two month trek back to Leo. By then Venus will have the brakes on ahead of a retrograde turn early next month that will keep her in your sector of adventure, travel, learning and discovery for most of February and March and will then see her return on 1st May to spend another five and a half weeks here. With Neptune, the planet of hopes and dreams returning at the end of next month for his first visit in our lifetime, Venus is preparing for something much bigger ahead. Meanwhile, a Full Moon in Leo on 13th February will bring you to the halfway point in this current solar year and with it a chance for a reset.
LOVE
Leo
Because the Sun will always spend the majority of the first three weeks of February in your relationship sector, the solar spotlight is always on your relationships at this time of year. However, often by the end of the month, all planetary activity on the relationship front could have come to an end and you would have to wait until the following January for the Sun's return. That won't be the case this year nor in any other year until Pluto, the planet of change and transformation leaves in 2044. While Pluto spent time here in 2023 and 2024, when he returned in November it was to spend the next 20 years here. This means that this month there are two things going on, the early months of what will be a two decade long journey and the more immediate focus that you can put on your relationships now, which includes starting the month with the Sun, Mercury and the dwarf planet Ceres here, but as they will all be gone by the end of the month, with a short term focus. The Sun will keep the solar spotlight on your relationships until leaving on 18th February while the dwarf planet Ceres deep dive into your relationship needs and priorities that began in November, will continue until she leaves on 24th February. More urgent is Mercury's departure on 15th February, with the planet of communication racing through in just 17 days. When the Moon returns from 25th February to 27th February Pluto will be on his own and it will have become more about the journey. However, by then there will also have been some surprise developments on the romantic front. On 20th February, the day before the Moon returns for its monthly visit from 21st February to 23rd February, the asteroid Juno, the queen of commitment will return for her first visit to your romantic sector in four years. By then Venus, the planet of love who will return to an adventurous part of your chart on 4th February, will be settling into her extended mission to bring the spirit of romance and adventure together.
