Gemini
It is a given that when Jupiter returns to Gemini, which he will do every 12 years to begin a new 12 year Jupiter cycle of expansion, that he will spend the majority of that time on his own. Jupiter will typically return during your birthday month and leave when your next birthday month comes around the following year, which is the case this year. As Venus and Mercury travel close to the Sun, it is in the early and final weeks of a Jupiter transit that you are going to feel the full influence of the planets of luck and expansion. While Jupiter returned to Gemini in May 2024 and the Sun left in June Mars, the last planet to move through Gemini last year, didn't leave until September, giving you a long run in.
Now, as Jupiter moves into his last full month in Gemini and as he prepares to return to your income sector next month to begin your biggest year for income growth and expansion in over a decade, it is time to start bringing this foundation year of this new 12 year Jupiter cycle of expansion home. However, this will be fairly late in the game, but once things swing into action, they are likely to happen fairly quickly and especially in terms of major new beginnings. Kicking things off will be the Sun's return to Gemini on 21st May to begin your birthday month and new solar year. This will be followed in quick succession by Mercury's return on 26th May with a chance to get your head in the game, before a New Moon on 27th May pushes the 'go for launch button'.
Meanwhile, you won't just be sitting around waiting for Jupiter's return to your income sector next month, with a chance first to get everything up to speed professionally. The Sun and Mercury have already moved through your career sector and even Neptune, the planet of hopes and dreams who had been here since 2012 left at the end of March, with Venus leaving on 1st May. However, the dwarf planet Ceres will continue her deep dive into your professional needs and priorities until leaving on 17th May, and until leaving on 25th May, Saturn will continue to give you the resolve to do whatever it takes for as long as it takes. It is Saturn's departure that will leave your career sector empty for the first time since 2010, though with a Full Moon in your work sector on 13th May helping with the professional gods' preparation for the lucrative months ahead.
Gemini
While it is rare to have planetary activity in your romantic or relationship sectors at this time of year and the fact that both are relatively quiet shouldn't be that unusual. Except it was only in January that after 18 months the South Node left your romantic sector and it was just last month that after two months the asteroid Juno, the queen of commitment and especially commitment to your relationships left your relationship sector. For Juno and your relationships this is unfinished business, for instead of moving on and after only venturing a few degrees into your relationship sector, Juno retrograded back out. When back in direct motion, Juno will return to resume her mission to update your relationship resolutions, but not until October.
Meanwhile, while apart from the Moon's monthly visits, there has been no cosmic activity on the romantic front since South Node left in January, this has left you with some clear guidelines to follow and you won't have to wait until the Sun returns on the September equinox for things to fire up again. In August, Mars will return and while that is still three months away, that time will fly by, while for now, it is your relationships that will benefit from his delay. Held back by a retrograde phase, Mars should have been and gone from your romantic sector by now, but instead, after retrograding back out in the New Year, he only returned to your communication sector last month to resume his war on communication barriers.
This is something that you will get maximum benefit from when the Moon first moves through your communication sector from 3rd May to 6th May and through your relationship sector from 13th May to 16th May. Meanwhile, helping to keep the spirit of romance alive will be the Moon's return to your romantic sector from 8th May to 11th May. As well as a friendly aspect to Jupiter in Gemini as it passes through, the Moon will also form a friendly aspect to Pluto, who will turn retrograde in an adventurous part of your chart on 5th May, bringing together the spirit of romance, adventure and nostalgia.
