Cancer
This is the month when for a while the past, present and future are going to overlap, but it is the future and the promise of major new beginnings that will ultimately prevail. The Sun will always spend the first three weeks of June in a nostalgic and reflective part of your chart, bringing you to the final weeks of your current solar year and with it, a chance to reflect. Yet at the same time, you are also in the final days of a 12 year Jupiter cycle of expansion with Jupiter, the planet of luck and expansion having returned here in May 2024. You even have Mercury here until 9th June, with a chance to view the past through his more intellectual filter.
Mercury will also be the first planet to break ranks, with his return to Cancer on 9th June creating a mental shift away from the past. Mercury will only be here for 18 days, but it is while he is here that everything will change, ensuring you have your head in the game, ideas on the table and the communication lines open as major new doors open. For it is just a day later and with the Sun still bringing your old solar year home, that Jupiter will return to Cancer on 10th June to begin a new personal 12 month lunar cycle while beginning what will be a lucky and expansive year, opening major new doors and offering major new beginnings.
It is when the Sun returns on 21st June to begin your birthday month and new solar year that there will be a chance to fully embrace this. Meanwhile, starting the month with six planets in your career sector is giving you everything needed to get the most out of Mars' final weeks in your income sector, before leaving on 17th June. Until she leaves your career sector on 6th June and as the planet of money, desire and attraction, Venus will be working to exploit this. Venus and Mars have been working in partnership, and that will continue when Venus returns to your friendship sector on 6th June and Mars to your communication sector on 17th June.
Cancer
While just having the asteroid Juno, the queen of commitment in your romantic sector is an advantage at a time of year when there is rarely any planetary activity on the romantic front, as you move into the new month, she is at a rare in between state for any planet here over recent years, where there is no built in support. Since 2010, no planet has moved through your romantic sector without the support of at least one planet in an adventurous part of your chart and even more so during the first five months of the year. However, when Saturn left on 25th June, he left it empty and Juno, matters of the heart and all things romantic without support.
However, not for long, with Mercury's return to Cancer on 9th June, Jupiter's on 10th June and the Sun on 21st June, all stepping into that role. While not a major player, as the queen of commitment Juno is steadfastly holding onto the spirit of romance and in her last full month in retrograde motion, is holding the doors open to the past and second chances. There will be a chance to more fully embrace this when the Moon returns to your romantic sector from 7th June to 10th June, making these some of the most romantically charged days of the month.
It is a day earlier that Venus, the planet of love will return to a social and serendipitous part of your chart on 6th June, something that will increase the potential for serendipitous moments and/or encounters. It is a few days later that the Moon will make its monthly visit to your relationship sector from 12th June to 14th June. As well as a chance to check in and become more emotionally engaged and aware, a clash with Mercury, who will return to Cancer on 9th June might push some buttons. With the planet of communication only in Cancer for 16 days, as the Moon puts a balance between your own and your relationship needs to the test, this could be the right push at the right time to get the communication lines open.
