Cancer
From the moment he returns to your home and family sector on 7th August to begin the first planetary activity on the home front since the Sun left in October 2024, Mars will be pushing back against the planets in your career sector. For any planet returning to your home and family sector, at some point this is going to happen and is a key part in any year for making your work/life balance a priority. With the dwarf planet Eris, the warrior princess of the cosmos in your career sector for over a decade, any planet moving through your home and family sector is going to clash. The difference this time is how soon this will happen, in terms of how early in the year and how soon after Mars' return.
The Sun will always return to your home and family sector on the September equinox each year, Venus and Mercury at around the same time and it is usually just before they leave that they will clash with Eris, making this something that will typically come to a head in October. Instead, Mars has returned to fire things up on the home front for the first time in two years, to find that Saturn and Neptune have returned to your career sector but are at the early degrees. This will see Mars clash within days of his return, but in a way that is going to work to your advantage.
By the time you move into the new month, Saturn and Neptune are not only in retrograde motion, but four of the five planets there are in retrograde motion, with the fifth turning retrograde on 12th August. With August a month when there is not only a lot of focus on home and family but with the playful, creative and adventurous side of life's fence also powering up, this is an opportunity to take advantage of a chance to take your foot off the gas professionally. Meanwhile, until Mercury turns direct in your income sector on 11th August and with Pluto in retrograde motion in your financial sector until October, on both sides of the financial fence the doors are open to the past, second chances and untapped potential.
Cancer
With Venus, the planet of love having spent the majority of July in a nostalgic and reflective part of your chart and the asteroid Juno having spent most of the last three months in retrograde motion in your romantic sector, the love gods have been taking your heart on a nostalgic trip down love's memory lane. However, as you move into the new month, it will be clear that all that has changed and if it feels like this is something that has changed overnight, that is because it has. While Juno, the queen of commitment turned direct on 11th July, she not only spent weeks at a near standstill, but with Venus still taking your heart on a nostalgic trip down love's memory lane, a sense of romantic nostalgia will have hung over virtually the whole month.
It wasn't until literally the 11th Hour that the veil lifted, when Venus left and finally returned to Cancer on 31st July. The first day of the new month is Venus' first full day in Cancer and as the first day of a new Venus cycle, with a chance for a fresh start. While Venus won't catch up and form a friendly aspect to Juno until 17th August, as the planet of love and the queen of commitment draw closer, they are working together from the start. Helping to get this off to the perfect start is having the Moon move through your romantic sector from 1st August to 3rd August.
As well as getting the new month off to a romantically charged start, as Venus is on a mission to update your romantic and relationship desires and expectations for the coming year, as the Moon's first visit since Juno turned direct, this will have both immediate and long term implications. Venus will leave on 26th August, so won't be here when the Moon returns from 28th August to 31st August. However, Juno will still be in your romantic sector, where until backup arrives in October, she will continue to keep the romantic flame burning. Meanwhile, the Moon's return to your relationship sector from 6th August to 8th August will be a brief chance to check in and become more emotionally engaged and aware.
