Cancer
There is change in the air this month and while the lunar nodes ended their 18 month policing of your work/life balance, this has left you with all the tricks needed to keep things balanced in a month where you are going to need it. On the one hand, even before the Sun returns to your sector of adventure, travel, learning and discovery on 18th February and even after Venus leaves here on 4th February, by then this will have fired up the playful, creative and adventurous side of life's fence in a way that there is no going back from. With Neptune, who has been here since 2012 leaving later next month, what Venus has spent the last month setting in motion will have taken on a life of its own.
While until Mercury leaves your financial sector on 15th February and the Sun on 18th February they are more interested in getting on top of money matters, when they leave and return to your sector of adventure, travel, learning and discovery they will continue what Venus, with the help of Neptune and Saturn here had begun. There was even support from Mars, in retrograde motion in Cancer until 24th February and from the asteroid Juno, in a playful and creative part of your chart until 20th February. The month will end with a New Moon in an adventurous part of your chart on 28th February, thanks to the Moon's return on 27th February.
However, after a busy start to the year across the income, work and career fronts things have dialled back, but that is about to change. It begins with Venus' return to your career sector on 4th February for what will be her longest visit in eight years, something that will give her time to prepare for Neptune's return next month. Even on the job front, where Mercury's departure early last month should have ended all planetary activity in your work sector until later in the year, things will catch their second wind when the asteroid Juno, the queen of commitment returns on 20th February. With both sides of life's fence powering up, having the right work/life balance couldn't be more important.
Cancer
There has been a shift in the regular pattern that each year has taken since as far back as 2008, with a shift away from your relationships and onto matters of the heart instead. Because Pluto's 16 year visit to your relationship sector ended in November 2024, when Mercury left towards the end of last month this brought to an end near continuous planetary activity since 2008. With no more planets returning to your relationship sector until later in the year, this has taken the focus off your relationships while the Moon will continue to return every four weeks.
The Moon was here when Mercury left last month and will come full circle from 23rd February to 25th February. This will be the first time the Moon has moved through without planetary activity since a short period in early 2024, but with a valuable chance to check in and become more emotionally engaged and aware. Apart from that, there will be no focus on your relationships all month and with Mars still in Cancer, this means no tension between your own and your relationship needs, though with an ingrained sense of what you want from your relationships and what they need from you.
Meanwhile, while Venus, the planet of love will leave an adventurous part of your chart on 4th February and the asteroid Juno, the queen of commitment will leave your romantic sector on 20th February, both will turn retrograde next month and start heading back. Venus will return in March to another five and a half months on what will be an ongoing mission to bring the spirit of romance and adventure together, while Juno will return to spend another six months here. While they are gone the asteroid Vesta, the goddess of the hearth will keep the romantic flames alight, with help from the Moon as it passes through your romantic sector from 18th February to 20th February.
