With the Sun always returning to begin your birthday month and new solar year on the March equinox, moving into April you are always moving into a new solar year and with it, a chance to focus on the journey and on new beginnings. This year, that chance to embrace was delayed, but when it came to embracing the future, it was bigger than anything imagined. By the time the Sun returned to Aries last month, Venus and Mercury were already here but in retrograde motion, with their focus on the past but at the same time keeping the brakes on. Venus retrograded back out on 27th March and Mercury three days later, something that took the brakes off 24 hours after an eclipsing New Moon finally gave this new solar year the green light.
Venus and Mercury will be back, with Mercury returning on 16th April and Venus early next month, but in the meantime, it was in the closing hours of March that Neptune, the planet of hopes and dreams returned to Aries for the first time in 150 years and apart from a few months when he will retrograde back out later in the year, he is here for the next 15 years. This opens the doors to new possibilities that you will continue to explore long after your birthday month ends on 20th April and the Sun returns to your income sector to begin the most lucrative months of 2025. Neptune's return is also good news for Mars and the asteroid Juno.
Juno will spend her final days before retrograding back out of your sector of adventure, travel, learning and discovery on 15th April at a friendly aspect to Neptune and when Mars returns to a playful and creative part of your chart on 18th April, he will move into the same aspect. This will see the playful, creative and adventurous side of life's fence come alive in the middle part of the month, all infused by Neptune's sense of what's possible. This month's Full Moon will fall in your relationship sector on 13th April and with Jupiter moving into his final two months in your communication sector on 10th April, the timing couldn't be better.
While the big news this month is on the romantic front a Full Moon in your relationship sector will put at least some focus on your relationships and more importantly, it will come before things really start to heat up on the romantic front. The Moon will make its monthly visit to your romantic sector from 6th April to 8th April, by which point it will have been three months since after two months Mars retrograded back out. Normally here for just six weeks, just having the planet of passion and the warrior planet of the cosmos here for two months was a bonus and when by retrograding back out, it was with a promise that he would return.
When the Moon moves through that promise has yet to be realised, but by the time these romantically charged lunar vibes run their course Mars will be just 10 days away from returning on 18th April to spend another two months here. At the same time, as the Moon moves through it will be to find Venus, the planet of love back in a nostalgic and reflective part of your chart, where she is waiting for Mars' return. When Venus returns to Aries on 1st May, it will be for her own do over, this time working with Mars to create some of the most romantically charged weeks of 2025.
Meanwhile, before the Moon returns to your romantic sector the Moon will manage to squeeze in its monthly visit to your relationship sector. Moving through from 11th April to 14th April, as well as the chance that you get every four weeks to become more emotionally engaged and aware, a clash with the Sun will create the Full Moon here on 13th April. This is a Full Moon that will always fall at some point during your birthday month and as well as determining when Easter will fall each year, this is key to being able to move into your new solar year aware of what you want from your relationships and what they need from you.
