2025 is a year of big changes and while we have already seen a lot of change last month, a lot of it was planets getting into position for what is to come or into a position where they could support planets that are on the way out or are preparing to leave over the coming months. The exception is starting the month with the Sun, Mercury and the dwarf planet Ceres in your friendship sector, where the biggest change has already taken place when Pluto returned to begin his 20 year visit in November. They are here to support the change that has already taken place or they will do until Mercury, the planet of communication leaves on 15th February, the Sun on 18th February and the dwarf planet Ceres on 24th February.
It is then that they will one by one return to a nostalgic and reflective part of your chart, where after years Neptune and Saturn are preparing to leave and finally return to Aries. Getting a jump that is Venus, who has already been here for a month when she leaves and returns to Aries on 4th February. With Neptune, the planet of hopes and dreams returning next month for its first visit to Aries in our lifetime, it is no longer that instead of rushing through in 24 days, a retrograde turn early next month will keep Venus here until the end of next month. This is the first step towards the major new doors that will open over the coming months.
Meanwhile, with a Full Moon in a playful and creative part of your chart on 13th February and the asteroid Juno in your sector of adventure, travel, learning and discovery until 20th February, Venus will also be working to prop up the playful, creative and adventurous side of life's fence. Meanwhile, 4th February is the same day that Jupiter will turn direct in your communication sector, surrounded by the support of the Sun and planets in your friendship sector. Another planet turning direct this month is Mars, who after retrograding back into your home and family sector early last month will turn direct on 24th February, taking the brakes off things close to home.
Things are not only set to become more romantically charged this month but in a way that you wouldn't normally expect at this time of year and in a departure from a focus that has been more on your relationships. When the South Node left your relationship sector last month, this ended the lunar nodes 18 month policing of a balance between your own and your relationship needs, while leaving you with no planetary activity on the relationship front until later in the year. The Moon will continue to return every four weeks, with its return from 16th February to 18th February a valuable chance to check in and become more emotionally engaged and aware.
However, where things have dialled back on the relationship front, they are heating up on the romantic front. It starts on 4th February when Venus, the planet of love will make an early and extended visit to your romantic sector. Last year Venus didn't return until March, which is usually when you would expect her to return and she moved through in just 24 days, as would normally be the case. This time, Venus will not only return over a month earlier than last year, but she won't leave until 27th March.
By the time you get to the end of the month, Venus will have come to a near standstill ahead of a retrograde turn on 3rd March that will see her leave by retrograding back out, only to return on 1st May to spend another five weeks here. Helping to get this romantically charged chapter off to an empowered start will be the Moon's return to your romantic sector from 11th February to 13th February. Normally this would be the only visit while Venus is in Aries, but this is just the first of several encounters while as a Full Moon, this is going to give the spirit of romance a serious boost.
