This month we have a mix of the expected and the unexpected and this is not only going to make for a unique month, but a month when the whole dynamics of the year itself are going to shift. The expected is that the Sun will always spend the first three weeks of May in your income sector, with the solar spotlight always on your income situation, matters and options at this time of year. While the Sun will leave on 21st May, it is while Mercury is here, from 11th May to 26th May, that you will have the smart head for money needed to keep your head in the game and to think on your feet. This is all typical for this time of year.
The only planet missing at this stage is Venus, for held back by a retrograde phase, the planet of money won't return until early next month. By then Uranus, who has been in your income sector since 2019 will be in his last full month, with Venus returning in time to bring things home and to bring the laws of attraction and synchronicity into effect when it counts. Meanwhile, helping to get the month off to a positive start will be Uranus' friendly aspect to the South Node in your work sector, which will peak on 2nd May but will hold tight right through to 13th May. This is the same day that a Full Moon in your financial sector is going to energise both sides of the financial fence.
Meanwhile, the unexpected events that are going to change the dynamics of the year itself are happening in Aries and therefore on the personal front. This is something that you have already started to experience, when at the end of March and just 10 days into your birthday month and new solar year Neptune, the planet of hopes and dreams returned to Aries for the first time in 150 years. Neptune is a dreamer and he has returned to awaken your dreams, something that Venus will run with when she returns to Aries on 1st May for a do over, to find that in her absence Mars has also returned to a fun, playful, romantic and creatively charged part of your chart. However, it is Saturn's return to Aries on 25th May to begin a new three decade long Saturn cycle that will give you the discipline and resolve to do whatever it takes for as long as it takes in order to turn dreams into reality.
It is in the very early hours of the month that Venus will return to Aries, almost a month to the day after retrograding back out. It is less that the planet of love has returned for a do over and will spend the whole of May back here, but what she will find when she returns. While Venus is gone Neptune, the planet of hopes and dreams not only returned to Aries for the first time in our lifetime, but after retrograding back out of your romantic sector in the New Year, Mars has returned for his own do over. Venus will spend her first weekend back in Aries aligned with Neptune, bringing the planets of love and dreams together here for the first time in our lifetime.
While Venus won't catch up and form a friendly aspect to Mars until later in the month, as he is not leaving until next month either, the planets of love and passion will have the whole of May as their playground. Because both have returned for do overs and have returned with an opportunity for second chances, they will be seizing the opportunity with both hands to make this one of the most romantically charged months of 2025. Some of the most romantically charged days will be when the Moon moves through your romantic sector from 3rd May to 6th May and then again on 31st May.
These romantically charged lunar vibes will connect with Venus and Mars, adding even more fuel to the planet of love and passion's influence. Meanwhile, with no planetary activity in your relationship sector, the Moon's return from 8th May to 11th May will be a valuable chance to check in and become more emotionally engaged and aware. With Jupiter in his last full month in your communication sector, the Sun returning on 21st May and Mercury, the planet of communication on 26th May, what you lack in support from the relationship gods is more than made up for by support from the communication gods.
